I just got my tractor running and the connecting rod bearing went out from rod to crankshaft, I am wondering what type of bearing it has in it? Any ideas??

I should mention this is my first tractor ever, I just put new ring gear on the flywheel, I have good help to fix it, but I am reading old discussions and now I am wondering if I am in over my head? are the bearings really difficult to change?? places to get parts would be very helpful Thanks!

"DC" models do not have changeable rod brgs, they are babbit poured and shimmed type, meaning you can take out shims to adjust for wear, providing it has not been run so long "knocking" to cause crank/rod damage ( I am assuming yours is knocking) you will need use of a servise manual for this adjustment, and you will need to have "plati-guage" material if your help is familar with this operation in mechanicing you will be able to do this if not I recomend getting in touch with someone who is as this is a very vital and required repair to not cause more engine damage cnt
