1943 John Deere H Paint

Were the 1943 tractors painted completely assembled? If not were the button head screws for the sheet metal painted?

They were painted complete

That would be interesting to watch someone get past the sheet metal with a spray gun to get the paint on all the parts behind it

The gas tank and inside of the hood on my H were unpainted but I just had to hood off my 51 A and it was completely painted. Also the inside of the hood and heat shield on both sides. Heavy runs on the fanshaft tube and no paint on its bottom side tell me some parts were pre-painted off line.
