1945 model a john deere

What would a 1945 model a john deere be worth. I am looking at buying it but owner wants me to make an offer. Tractor has not been started in 10 years and is stuck. Tires look new and paint is poor. Would $1000 be too much?

My 2 cents I would not buy one that is stuck. You might end up with more money in it then its worth or could have already boought one in great shape for the amount you invested in the A. Or you could roll the dice and let the pistons soak and hope they break free w/o breaking anything else and maybe it will run great and have good compression. Good luck

If it was stored inside when it became stuck, I wouldn't worry about it too much. The tires will cost you around $1000.00. Condition of the tinwork. I would offer $800.00. If he wants more he'll tell you.
