1946 chevy turn signals

I ordered a new wiring harness and a turn signal switch kit, from Chevs of the 40's I installed the switch and harness according to the diagrams included.

When I try to use the turn signals I have constatant power to the turn signal lights, I have tried 3 different flasher modules and each does the same, just constant power I cannot get it to flash. I am looking for more ideas I'm tapped out for ideas? If anyone has any ideas that I could try I'm listening.

Bad ground or wrong bulbs in the lights.

12 volt flasher on a 6V system? ? Was it prewired or a do it to a diagram kit?

I don't know about new kits but old ones had to be hooked in to brakes by the master cylinder so directionals didn't feed back as brakes use the same bulb. I guess it grounded the wire so bulb was grounded. Its been a while. Good luck
