1948 model A wiring diagram

Can any one post pics or a link for wiring diagrams for a 1948 model A with a 12 volt system? There wasn't much left of the old wires after sitting outside for 10+ years. Thanks for the help. Josh Day

I should ad that it has a alternater and and a mag.

And also the wires that are on the alt. are red and white is the red = to the black?

A-3 is for 12 volt, positive ground A's serial# 584000 and later with distibutors.

so if you have a 12 volt system with a gen. it's (pos.) ground but if it's a alt. it turns to (neg.) ground. right?

Josh,

ALL 2 cylinders (6 or 12 volt) (mag or distribtor) left the factory with Positive ground. Some were later changed to Negative ground by the owner.

Alternators use Negative ground.
