1955 Ford 960 Grill

Hello All,

First time posting here, and I'm in need of some help. I am starting a restoration on a 1955 Ford 960. This tractor has been repainted over the years to immitate a 901 powermaster. I want to undo that look and return to factory original paint scheme and body lines. The egg crate grill obviously has to go but my issue is that when I search for 1955 front grills, I get a results that show the grill with hand crank hole in the lower middle section of the grill. From photos I have found online, the original grill looks shorter and includes mounting places in the four corners of the grill. The replacement grill with the hand crank hole just looks wrong (see attached photos). Curious if anyone has run into this issue when restoring a late model. Thanks in advance for the help!

Evan

I have one from a 1955 960 that is in pretty nice shape. It is even in the correct gray instead of the 1964 white like most guys are painting them. Here is also a pic of one side of my hood in front of a wheel that I had just pressure washed. Some of the 1964 white blew off leaving the original gray underneath.

That is awesome, I am actually looking for the side panels with script as well. Would you be willing to sell these? If you'd like to direct message me we can setup a phone call.
