Power steering pump is leaking out of shaft by fan drive pulley. Have manual and wass wondering how big of job to reseal? Also have oil leaking out off bottom of sterring pedistal is it the oring in top or what advice and how bad to fix?

Since you will need to remove the pedestal anyway, to replace the bottom seal (actually an "O" ring and backup washer), it will be out of the way of moving the radiator ahead a bit to facilitate removal of the PS pump/fan assembly.

Installing the seals is pretty straightforward once you get to them.

Get the lips facing the correct direction and put a little grease between the lips of the 2 seals that get installed back-to-back.

the Powersteering pump & fan will come out
without removing the radiator.. It is CLOSE
I've done a 620 & 630 once the nose cone is
removed. Fan shaft has one place it will let
pump slide off, you've got to be carefull...
But like what has been said, if the pedistal
is being removed I might be easier to slide
the rad forward..
New J/D seals use'd two seals back to back.

I like to slide a piece of cardboard in front of the fan to protect the radiator.
