Thinking about buying my dad"s case 300 trpl rng. It is solid. no rust or dents, just faded. got all the covers ( battery and gas cap). Is it worth $2500.00?

the 300 was made in '58 and '59 only. They're great tractors, and if it's in decent shape, hasn't been abused and doesn't need new rubber all around, then it should be worth that. There's a serial number guide in the left column to look yours up to tell you what year it is. I have 2 '58 models...a 311B and a 310B.

It sounds like you have a 300B, which would make it a 1958 or 1959 model. If everything is there and in good condition, that price is in the ballpark. If it were my dad's, I sure wouldn't let it get away for a few dollars... Said differently, that price is close enough that I would tie it up and never think twice about the decision. - Joe

It has the square front. Also has remote hydraulics to the rear. Can't see why. I wouldn't think it to be strong enough to pull a disc big enough to have a hydraulic axle. Are they pretty strong? I have always had a john deere 40.

Def. a 311B,(ag version of the 300B series) if it's a square-nose. Great tractors. Stronger than they look like they oughta be. My 310B (industrial version) has a forklift on back, and front loader with forks on it. I've hauled palletized hand-cut sandstone that's had to weighed a ton on the forklift with another 7/800 lbs on the forks on the loader.

Really? I have driven it, never really worked it. I am in NC and it's about impossible to get any tractor, other than a cub, for under $3500. I need a stronger tractor than the jd 40. So you think I will be impressed with the 300?

Thanks for all your input! I think I will go ahead and buy it. What are the remote hydraulics for on this model?

a 10' would be too much here a 8' should work though, my 530 pulls a 8' 3pt disc fine and its just a few more ponies than the 300's, they used remotes for a lot of implement like rakes plows discs drills ect cnt

if its your DADS ,.. don't matterwhat the price is ,,. so glad I paid twice the going rate for POPs 51 DC 25 yrs ago..he made me promise to keep it

Our dealer had the 300 round nose and the 300B rated at 34.6hp and the 350 round nose at 42.Always wanted a 350 with power steering. Friends had one and he could always beat me at the tractor pulls.
