ok.. update. The hydraulics work if I hang off the back of the post hole digger boom. When there is no weight on the end of the digger, the hydraulics wont lift the implement high enough to put the auger on. We bled the fluid using the bleeder screw on the pump and some air did come out, but this didnt help the problem. He(my friend) thinks that there is a seal on the piston or rod that works the arms. this bad seal allows fluid to blow by when not much weight is on the hydraulics, but with weight added, somehow the seal has backpressure and functions... has anyone had this problem? Also, I am still waiting on manuals to come in. Is there a filter anywhere in the hydraulic system? if so, where? and finally, there are three separate chambes with three separate fill bolts, do all of these require hydraulic fluid? Is there any that require gear oil? the reason that i ask is because we pulled the top fill plug on the rear differintial and is looks dry... but when you check the dipstick, it shows to be over full... since I dont have my manual yet, I was hoping for some help. Thank You.
