Hello. Been lurking for weeks after purchasing my 2000 4 cyl gasser, and finally have a question. Going thru everything on it and im eliminating the aftermarket inline artic fox coolant heater. I've got a heater hose coming from the left side of the engine just in front of the starter to the heater which was mounted on the right front of the engine near the lower rad hose. My lower radiator has a 3 inch nipple that drops below the lower rad hose and is molded into the casting, presumably for the hose connection. My question is can I eliminate the hose all together and cap each end, or is the hose needed for added coolant flow to the rear of the engine? Aftermarket radiators do not seem to have the bung for a heater hose so im conflicted on if its needed. Thank you
