I would also like to restore the lights on the tractor that I believe went on the back fenders. Does anyone know where the wires were ran so that they were hidden or at least out of the way?

The wires are pretty well hidden. I don't recall them on mine very well. Looking at the pictures in my owner's manual and the parts book I see bits of miniature romex running from side to side at the back of the hydraulics. I remember a cable like that running from the left side of the dash along side the transmission and axle going to the rear. We may have to go look at a tractor with those to see for sure. Mine had a loader so some previous owner mounted lights up on the radiator cowl up on top because the rear fender lights mostly illuminated the loader frame, not the work out front.

The wires rand down the top right hand side of the transmission housing. That is what the hole in the trans. case flange is for. the then ran to behind the seat split left and right under the axels and up the fender on the wheel side.

There is a fantastic article on Ferguson lighting in the Ferguson Furrows Issue #9. It is available from FENA.
