I sure like original looking tractors. I didn't know bubble nose tractors were that late. What is your serial number? I have a flat nose 950LP serial number 155. I like the extended fuel tank, was it bought new or custom made?

The nurse tank is made from a M5 LP that we bought for parts. Not much left of that tractor except rear tires and a TRW hydrostatic steering unit. The G950 is serial number 111.

Freddy, good looking tractors. At what number did the 950s switch to flat nose? I have parts of lp#60 bubble nose that was factory red. I also have lp #s 141 and 145 that are complete and running.

I heard the reason that the flat nose MM's came out for the year 1971 was to match the yellow oliver tractors. Now in reality I have seen a bubble nose oliver (green MM) 1350 and multiple MM's in 1971. Our 1350 is a 71 also. It has a bubble nose. The 1050 is a 1969. Talking to some old timers some farmers didn't like the flat nose MM's since they looked to much like an oliver in styling. From the serial numbers I have only seen late model MM with the flat nose. Never found any concrete proof yet on a actual date.
