1982 Case 222 General Q's

Hello,
I just inherited my grandpas 1982 Case 222. I remember when I was a kid mowing their yard all the time with it when he would work 10 hour days. Its a great tractor. But He is retired baught a new Grasshopper, so I ended up with this.

It has some running issues but nothing I cant handle there, but what im curious is as to where I could get front wheel bearings. These arent terrible, but should be replaced. I can probably find them localy if I knew the numbers.

All that it has for attachments is the J40 Deck. I was wondering, lets say I found a snowcaster for it. I know that they run off of hydro, so is there a pump that is spose to mount on the tracter run off of the same PTO lever that the deck is run by?

Any pics of that system would be great.

Ingersoll did make a hydraulic driven snow blower but it wasn"t designed for your 200 series tractor. Powered attachments on the rear of your tractor would be hydraulic but your caster will be belt driven like the mower deck.
There are a few forums dedicated to the Case garden tractors and there"s a couple dealers on them that will ship parts quick and cheap.
You get that machine running and take care of it and your grandkids will be using it some day. You can"t say that about many things now a days. Bet grandpa loves his Grasshopper. I do mine.

I have a 224, an older one. Just did front wheel bearings. First of all you can download a parts catalogue from Ingersoll"s website. That would give you part number. I simply matched mine up at the Deere dealership where I'm employed. They just matched it up by size.
