2-105 White

I recently found a 1979 2-105 White. It has poor tires, good tin and glass, and the owner says it needs and engine. What perkins engine will fit and how much is it worth needing an engine?

It's a turboed Perkins 354- not sure what version of it, as there were several (dot1, dot 2, etc) A Cummins 5.9 would fit nicely in it's place.

With a bad engine, $1500 is the norm. Poor tires may bring it down a little.

Any Perkins 354 will fit, I have one out of a MF 750 in my 1850. Probably have to switch some outside covers and parts off old motor onto new one. Around Here in Western Ill, you can buy 750's at sale's for around $500. Chris
