2-110 fluids

I have a recently purchased 2-110.
I need to know what to use in the hydraulic system
What to use in transmission-rear end?
Thanks.
Mark

Rear end takes 80w-90 gear oil. Hydraulics can run the hydraulic fluid of your choice or hytran. 3 speed should be upgraded to hydraulic fluid or hytran as well if it hasn't been done already.

Nope. The 2-88 and 2- 110 Still have the separate hydraulic on top and rear end below
using 80w-90, it wasn't until the 100 and 120 that the smaller ones got the rear end
and hydraulic unit together like the 2-135 and larger and used universal.

IAfarmer is correct. I'll quote from cheat sheet copied from bulletin when I was parts mgr. at Oliver/White dealer: Engine 16 qt, above 30 degrees 30wt, below 80 deg 10W-30, 10 to 80 deg. 15W40; Transmission & differential w/ 3pt 43qt HTF (= tractor fluid), w/o 3pt 47qt; Hydraulic system 33qt "HY" (= Type 55); Over under 3.5qt HTF; Transfer case 1.4qt HTF; Front diff Oliver design 8qt 80W-90, Soma design 7qt 80W-90; Front hubs Oliver design 2.5qt 80W-90, Soma design 1.3qt 80W-90. But there have been many improvements since 1988 when this bulletin was from. I would run a GOOD grade Universal Tractor Fluid everywhere but the engine crankcase, if the label says meets Massey Perma-Tran III it is OK.

Whoops. I stand corrected. I didn't recall the recommendation changing from gear lube to universal until they switched to the trans/rearend/hyd all as one unit. My bad!
