can u pull just the motor on a 2-155 to install a new clutch or do u need to take the hp with the engine? it looks like the oil pan will hit the powersteering rack, cyld before the engine will be far enough forward to clear. thanks for anyhelp.

I put one in my 2-135 this spring. Better get an I&T manual at the very least. The Over/Under stays in it,but you have to make a tool to hold the trunion coupler from slipping. I had to take the rear carrier for the front axle off, take off the front pulley and take out the steering rack. I got the darned thing back in there one cog off so it doesn't turn to the left as far as it should. Been too busy using it to pull the radiator and correct it.

I thought I took a picture of that tool, but I'm not finding it. It involves a pipe half inch pipe reducer,a nut and a piece of 5/16th or so threaded rod.

But yea,not the worst job I've ever done, but to say it's a pain in the backside is an understatement too.

You are supposed to pull the over/uner with the engine. You won"t have to mess with the steering gear or the front pulley. You will need to make a tool to keep the pto and over/under couplers with the over/under. There is a 1/2 pipe plug on the right side of the over/under trunion coupler you"ll have to take out to pin the couplers.

you can pull it either way but you will want to install engine and o/u together.they are correct there is a tool to hold couplers in place but getting the holes to line up can be bear
