We just installed a turbo on our 2-70 White. Give me some thoughts, comments, insults I can take them. We did it about 3 weeks ago and its really improved the tractors power. Has not shown any signs of harm yet.

How much horse power and boost are you running? Did you increase the capacity of the oil pan?

I've never put one on a tractor that didn't have one,but I know my uncle put one on a 4020 Deere back in the 60s. My cousin was telling me something about that little adventure just a few months ago. He said they didn't put a temp guage on the manifold and it would heat up before the water would under load. He said they took the rings right out of it in a hurry. Said they put a manifold temp guage on so they knew to lighten up on the load when that went up and it didn't bother again. Just something to think about.

Keep an eye on cooling system and make sure it is in top shape.
