2 N Delco alternator conversion top bracket

It is easy to find btackets for the bottom of the alternator but not having any luck with a bracket for the top of alternator.

I have seen them on other tractor conversions but can't seem to find where to buy one. Can anyone please help?

my top bracket looks like the top bracket off any of my old 60's era Chevy's. Ought to be able to find one in a junk yard fairly cheap.

Don, I just changed over my early 8N front mount to 12 volt and those brackets worked just fine. Takes both of them, the one under 2 head nuts and the adjustment arm from there to the alternator. Granted I got mine locally but they came from Tisco. No mods just bolt em together.

Rick.....it works great on an 8n but not on a 9-2n.The throttle rod bracket is in the way on them and the bracket has to be located on the two front head bolts.So, the bracket for the 8n is made different than the 9-2ns. don b
