2 PTO shafts.

Hello,

I have a question.

Does anyone know if someone has made a tractor with 2 PTO shafts in the rear end of a tractor ?

I have heard about several tractors with 1 in the rear, and 1 in the side, but how about 2 in the rear ?

Some pre-60's tractors had "pulleys" on the side, some modern tractors have PTO's under the tractor for mid-mount mowers. I am not an expert, but I have never heard of 2 PTO's in the rear. What, pray tell, would you use them for?

Bill........of course the N's never had 2-PTO's but there were some tractors that had both 540-PTO's and 1000-PTO's at the same time. You'd choose one-or-tuther but NOT BOTH depending upon the application. Sorry, I don't remember which model of tractors had dual PTO's.......Dell
