20-20 coats tire machine

20-20 Problem-
Air is coming straight from the compressor to throught the foot valve- like a big leak- when you mash the petal, the tire changer will work but when you let off the petal, it leaks all the air out of the compressor...how do I fix this? Thanks- I'll pass this along to my father-he has no email-

When you let off the pedal,there must be a waste port that vents the cylinder pressure off.I would figure the foot pedal valve is not closing tightly,allowing a low volume of air to pass thru the machine and out the waste valve bleeding the compressor down.Prolly just not enough volume via the leak to activate the machines cylinder. I know I could fix it if I was on-site,but don't know the specific assembly to tell you to check out

The foot valve is the trouble, it may have a blow/ wornout seal/packing
