The manual says to hold the clock button in until the hour numeral flashes, then adjust the time with the radio tuner knob. Well, I've held that rascal in for as much as 5 minutes several times and it never blinked. I'm stuck in central standard time, unless I decide to move to El Paso. Then, I'll have to move again in October. Has anybody else had a problem changing their GM clock?

I know this sounds pretty stupid. Fall to Spring a couple of months ago I could not get mine to change, sooo just subtracted an hour. Same with my watch, I am trying to remember to ask my grandson to make the adjustments for me. Cheers, Murray

I have the same trouble with mine. You just gave an idea about moving, could move in the time I fooled with that clock!

Hi George,
My grandson is in third grade. I think I"ll ask him to fix it next time he"s here. Problem solved.

Go get yourself a simple wrist watch with the analog dial and a stem that can be pulled out to set the time. Ignore that complicated, high tech electronic piece of garbage in the dash of your truck. Use it only to listen to tunes and news, provided you can figure out how to tune in the station you want, and then be able to adjust the volume to your liking. I get along O.K. with the radio in my 2001 truck, but I don't have a clue when it comes to operating the radio in my wifes '08 Equinox.

The manufacturers have gone way overboard with the electronic gadgets. Most of it serves no practical purpose and is very frustrating to use, and even worse, very distracting when you SHOULD be paying attention to your driving.

Then push the clock button, do not hold it just push it,

Then push the preset button below "HR" on the screen.

Then turn the station change knob to adjust the hours.

If you want to adjust the minutes or date from this screen you can do so now by pushing the button below "min" or "month", "day", "year"

When you get it set the way you want push the clock button to return to the home screen or just wait 20 seconds or so and it will go back on its own.
