2010 weight

A friend has a 2010 diesel with a bucket & backhoe on it. He's looking to get an estimate on what it weighs. It's sat for years and says the engine would need a total rebuild and everything else on it.

The one I owned was around 5 to 6 ton, the bare tractor is over 3 ton buy it's self. May I ask your thought's on asking this question? Their are reasons why I sold mine..

Jo, He's thinking about scrapping it.

The base 2010 D itself weighs 4700 lbs.

Got ya.. was hoping you wasn't going to try to repair it..spent 3 times what I paid for mine repairing it..although it takes more time and effort, this is a case where it would be more $$ wise to sell parts than taking it directly to the scrap yard..if you can't sell the parts you can scrap it later..

At least remove the hydraulic pump and cylinder head. There is a good market for those.
