I pulled the top cover off the cab to do some cleaning.(Was not getting much air flow out of the AC vents)There is no duct work from the blower motors to the evaporator and heater core.Am I missing parts? Does the open area in the top of the cab act as the duct work ??

It blows out of the blower motor housing and through the top of the cab and across the heater core and evaporator. There is nothing wrong. Just make sure the pan under the evaporator core is clean and the hoses under the evaporator core that go through the front 2 cab posts are clean so that they drain and remove the water from under the evaporator core or else the water will fill up under the evaporator. That will cause the AC not to work as good and eventually enough water will build up that it will run inside the cab and give you a bath. Also make sure when you put the lid back on the top to either put a new seal on or silicone or caulk around the top very well to prevent air from getting out and to keep the rain/snow from getting in. It also helps to silicone or caulk around the bolt heads to keep the water out also. Hope this helps!

Also, before you put the lid on, be sure to seal anyplace air could leak out, such as around the speakers, wire holes, ect. Seal everything up tite, and air flow out the louvers is pretty good.

there is apiece of insulation between the top cover and the rear filter that can fall down and cut off air flow to the fan. rip it out and discard
