2240 fuel in crankcase

I posted 2 weeks ago & a couple of guys suggested replacing fuel pump in an attempt to remedy (Thanks for the help!). Got a new one on and it's still putting diesel in crankcase. Does this mean injector pump? If so, where do I start searching for the leak? Are there other possibilities? FYI it's an early 2240 (1 owner). Thanks very much for your opinions.

if you have checked the transfer pump, the next plce would be the two seals on the inj. pump shaft. good luck. changed a few myself.

Does it have the Stanadyne/Roosamaster pump - or the CAV?

The Stanadynes often get a ridge worn into the bronze bushing at the front of the injection pump -causing diesel fuel to leak past the two umbrella seals. If so - the pump needs to come off - new bushing put in - and two new seals installed. It's a three hour job - start to finish for someone that knows what they're doing. And - about $15 total in parts.
