looked at a sunflower 22ft disc /22inch blads
NIEBOR SAYS MY CASE 2290 WON'T BE ABLE TO PULL IT
HAVE BEEN USING A KRAUSE 18 FT TILL KNOW ??ANY THOUGHTS ON THIS GUYS??? THANKS KRIS

I don't know your soil types but I use to pull a 25 foot IH disc 22" blades with a 160HP 1086 that weighed about 15,000 with duals. Worked better than the 18 ft krause I pulled before the 25'.

I went to fast with the 18 and it ridged.

What does that 2290 have for HP and weight?

Depends on what spacing the blades are. I would say you will have a hard time pulling it, depending on how hilly it is and if you have contours. We pulled a 20ft disc that was not a plow disc but not a finishing disc with a 180 hp 7220 magnum 2wd and it did it ok.

neighbor had a 19ft. ih 496 on a 1370 case that he could make spinout if he pulled the wheels up, a 13 is heavier than your 22 and has more power, you could pull it but you aren't going to make any speed records and most likely will have to hold it back

tractor data .com says;;
engine hp 154//// drawbar hp ;;116
wt is 14000lbs; i have duals 4 it but not currently on???? thanks kris

I dont see the problem.We used to pull a 220 John Deere Center fold with a 4430 or the 4440 with no trouble.The 4430 did require duals because it slipped to much without them.
