267 diesel in 801

can any1 tell me the bore and stroke on this engine in an 800 thanks

My manuals list the bore on a A267 engine as 4 1/8. The 284 gasser is 4 1/4.

Am I missing something ?

No. That"s right. However, the 284 Gas/LP was not available in the 801. It had a 251 in the Gas/LP configuration. The 284 Gas/LP didn"t come out until the 830 series when the diesel version had a 301.

so has anyone used 830 pistons in this engine by boring or sleeving
