2705 oil pressure light

Well...went to do some pasture mowing, and have an oil pressure light. This light came on a few weeks back. At that time I checked the oil, it was down to the add mark. I brought it to full....and the light went away. Now...different story. Oil right at full mark. How do I go about diagnosing this problem. I’m not sure where to begin.

get a guage at local parts store it may just be the sending unit

Isn't it there to tell if the oil is low? You don't really need it. The sender maybe the problem ,
