can you spray 28% nitrogen on corn before its up?

Not an unusual practice in this area and have done it a couple times. If not no-tilling, better to spray before planting and work in a little, but sometimes the nitrogen supplier can't keep up with all the planters.

Yes.. we do it all the time. 32 or 28%, Can even spray 120 units on corn 3 leaf. Takes the wind out of its sails but the growing point is still in the ground. Don't do this with n and chem though.

Yes you can apply Harness Xtra before corn is up. I've done it at spike but it is not labeled for that.

There is about 3 units of N per gallon in 28% liguid nitrogen.

So 120 units equals 40 gallon of 28%.

When ever they mention "units" in this area it means lbs/acre, I assume this would be a universal definition.
