got a chance to get a 45 horse bessemer,40 horse ball,and a big reed,reed is missing top of main caps,carb and ignition.other 2 are complete,all three are stuck.i was told this is there sizes since i am unsure.price is right.i have to move them also.i guess what im asking are these worth anything or not

Yes, they are! Do a google search for "Harrys's Old Engines" and find the discussion forum on old oil field engines...a wealth of info. Caution: these things are definately NOT pinweights. There's a real art to transporting them while preventing damage or injury, but it CAN be done! Access to the engines is a big issue. Do any trees need to be cleared or roads made? Need permission to cross property?

I live in California and drove all the way to West Virginia for my 25 hp SouthPenn...weighs 6000 lbs. Built a special trailer with tandem 5200lb. axles and BRAKES. Then towed it all the way back, sometimes at 80mph with a Ford F150..so yes they are worth the trouble.
