Perfect timing, too. A lot of calves and cattle are sold in the Fall. Even more will be sold here in Virginia with the drought we are having, pastures drying up, and no Fall hay to cut.

If it wasn't for my son, the big dairy would own my land and I'd get off those sickening tilt-a-whirl. And don’t forget that this foreign beef was most likely grown without US grain (corn). It takes about 105 million bushels to raise that amount of beef. That’s about 1/5 of what Ohio grows each year. Someone is going to need to find a market for that corn too now. And the elimination of those tariffs, just further adds to the $40 trillion federal debt that our grandchildren will need to pay. Great.
