3000 Ford Clutch

I was leveling some ground with box blade when all of a sudden the clutch would not disengage when I pressed the pedal. I adjusted the linkage every direction to no avail. Tractor will crank in gear and it pulls just like it always did -- stopping is a big problem. If cranked in gear clutch will not disengage to put it into gear. Is this a have-to-open it up or is there some miracle cure? Thanks -- I need to get some plots planted.

does it feel the same when you push the pedal down?

I suspect the pressure plate has collasped.

or a throwout bearing arm broke.

or a broken finger, or a broken bolt in the cross shaft/release fork...
Just split the old witch and find out.
