any ideas i rebuilt the injection pump, got it back on and running but it is running to fast like an idle screw needs turned down?

Unhook the throttle linkage and see if the lever is actually touching the idle screw (it's on the outside). If it IS and still idling too high, turn the screw in - just like you would on a carburetor.
