Uncle #1 bought a 3010 diesel(year unknown to me) couple of years ago from a dealer. All painted up and looking nice. Uncle #2 went to use it one morning on the manure spreader and noticed when the pto lever is pushed all the way forward the tractor movement stops. I have also noticed that when you are releasing the main clutch to start movement that there isn't any clutch slippage. It just takes off all at once. Looking at a parts breakdown there doesn't appear to be much to go wrong and was wondering what would cause these symptoms. Does the grab handle on the left side of the tractor act as a stop for the pto lever? If memory serves me correctly the grab handle is missing. Most of my experience with these tractors has been mainly operational. I am more familiar with the workings of the old farmalls. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
