3020 brakes

Ive noticed my brakes on my 3020 make a noise when you stop the tractor hard. Also they kinda jump back at you. It brakes real good just wondering if the noise is normal. Thanks!

wanna trade brakes? ours are barely noticeable noise-wise.
However, there seems to be no middle ground between no brakes and wheels locked. They don't act like disc brakes, they act like drum brakes!

Don't know for sure if the 3020 is the same but when the 3010D I was around a LOT did that, they needed bled.

After a bleeding the lock up went away, delay in resistance went away, pedal kicking back went away. They turned into real nice brakes after a bleeding.

Some brakes make more noise than other ones.If pedal kicks back you need to take plungers out of valve. Moisture got under rubber boot and lever is rusted to plunger.Reseal valve.

What oil is in the transmission? True JD oil has an additive to calm the brakes. Oils without that can cause the brake disks to come apart and contaminate the whole transmission and hydraulic system.
