3020 gasser

What sparks plugs do you guy's recommend for my 71 3020 gas. I searched the forum but I didn't find anything. Right now I've got D-16 champions in it and I don't think they are hot enough, they seem to foul up alot. Are ac or autolite better?

I'm on the road so I can't check my 3020 but I think I've got AC 386's in mine. Mine was also fouling plugs on occasion but the best thing I did to help out was put in an electronic ignition kit and hot coil. Also rebuilt and adjusted the carb. With the e/i you can widen the spark plug gap to help out. I don't use Champions in anything anymore.

I put a hotter AC plug in my 4020. I believe they were AC-21.

I run D-16's in mine without any problems. Does yours black smoke? Or is it oil consumption fouling the plugs? (blue smoke)

I am running stock coil, etc.
