My 3020 has developed a hydraulic pump leak. It is the seal leaking at the shaft. Can that be fixed without taking the pump out. Thanks!

No you will need to remove the pump, the seal that is actualy leaking is the high pressure seal on in the pump, the seal that you see is a low pressure/dust seal, the shaft needs to come out to re-seal it. If you have a wide front end it will need to come off, the pump and frame comes down out together, 4 1/2 inch bolts at the front off the engine, a high pressure line on the right(needing a 1 inch wrench),the charge line on the left(needing a 1 1/4 wrench) the oil cooler line on top (needing a 1 1/4 inch wrench) the seal drain line on the right(needing a 5/8 inch wrench), and the fuel line clamp on the right side(9/16), and the shaft coupler 2 3/8 bolts,,pry it away from the engine and let that end down first, it will comw "all" at once so be ready for it..
