My favorite chore tractor,a 1966 3020 diesel started a light knocking thursday evening about half a mile back on my farm. I shut it off and walked back in. I have been covered up with work both at home and my part time job so this is the first chance I have had to post a question. It is in a remote field down a steep muddy hill. A truck and trailer are out of the question untill dry weather which probably means spring. I am leery about towing it out with another tractor because of the horror stories I have read on here about possible damage from towing a 3020.I hopefully will get to check it out monday afternoon. I hope it is an injector but afraid it wont be. There are many on here that know so much more than I ever will so what are your suggestions? Do you think it would be safe to tow it back to my shop to check it out. I even thought about driving it out but Iam afraid of damaging the block and know they are next to impossible to find. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Lee
