Hi-new to the group and fairly new to dozers. I have a 310 Case 188 diesel that I acquired a while ago but haven't used very much - the reason being the following problem. It seems like it takes hardly anything to stop the dozer from moving.A rock the size of a large grapefruit will stop it in its tracks. My question is-is there something in the rear end that would stop it from moving or is it most likely a bad clutch or pressure plate ? I'm not familiar with the inner workings of the rear - I hear the word clutches spoken of all the time but do they affect movement or only steering ?
Thanks
