35 A Before After Pics

Thought some of you would enjoy looking at the latest project .Sun was out today & it got above freezing , so I pulled it outside for a few pictures. Sorry for the dark before pics. Took about 14 months . Needed new main case , block , head ,carb , manifold ,clutch , right brake & matching bull gear plus a lot of TLC ! Done from inside out & ground up . Thanks for looking !

That is a beautiful job , M. H.!!! May I ask a question on your sheet metal?? If the hood and fenders are re-productions could you give a very honest opinion on the quallity , authenticity , fit and finish and how much "detailing" they needed to make them right for paint.Reason I ask is because I've seen some pretty "amaturistic" examples of these that I would be pretty pi$$ed off to recieve from some of the better known vendors. If they are originals then disreguard question and lucky you to have them. Thank you . Randy.

Let me start by saying thank you all for the nice compliments !
I have a 35 B that I restored several years ago and it has the original hood and fenders on it . Restoring them came at great expense ( very labor intensive )in that I pay a friend to do the bodywork and painting. This time I opted , at his suggestion , to buy reproduction parts and we were both very pleased with both the fit and the finish of these. They came from Detwilers ! In my opinion they were very high quality parts at a fair price ! Thanks again, M. H.

I have a 35 A pretty much like yours except I didn't put fenders on mine as it didn't originally have them and mine does have a power lift that I guess must have been added some time in it's life. Nice Job on the Restoration!
