Looking for help on position control linkage adjustments can these adj. be made without the ford tools sw3 and sw508. I have read and looked at this thing for hours and cannot see how to do this, pictures in manual are dark and cannot see real well. If any one could give me some ideas on this I would be very thankful.

I know the service manuals for the 55-64 machines provide for 'alternate' adjustment procedures without using the nuday tools. Hsve never looked a my 3 cyl manual to see if it had them.

Check yours over so see if it lists an 'alternate' adjsutment. if so.. it should give you adjustment increments to measure vs using the gauge tools.

post back. I'mnot at home and thus can't reach over and grab my manual to check.

I have call my self looking for other ways but have not found them in manuel. It is almost the same adj. for the draftcontrol linkage adj. Still looking for away. Don't want to put it back on till i get those two things adj.
to much repaired in inside of case to junk it back together.

i'll check my manual when I get home to see if I see the alternate procendure. I've never looked onthe 3 yl jobs. I generally only have my hands into the 4 cyl 55-64 jobs..
