Well, John Deere came thru again. This time they got the serial # replaced on my 40 standard. It doesn't look as good as an original but I won't complain as it was put on and documented by a factory rep. Thanks John Deere for thinking so much of their products.

you can buy original looking tags and transfer your correct serial number over.Just keep the replacement tag to go with the tractor if you ever sell it.

Can you post a picture of the new tag? Thinking of doing this on my 40.

whos making the old style tag? i want one
