Just wondering at what point or what serial number a 400 farmall went to the 1" piston pins?

I believe the C-264 had the 1.3" and the C-281 had the 1". The last 400s had the C-281 engine in them. Not sure how many were made that way.

the last 400 with the C264 had the 1" pin. Not sure where the beak is, my parts book only shows both of them and no listing to where they being or end the 1.3"

I could tell you if I was home...but...I think it was c264 after 64k or 164k

Engine serial # 163808 and higher or in a Farmall 400 gasoline fuel tractor serial # 31239 and higher. LP 31259.

Thanks. Any idea what the gain in power would be with the lighter rods? I don't imagine it would be a lot, but every little bit helps.
