Try to get a hold of a manual and service manual... should give you the info and then some.Parts manual may be available on JD site. JD sells PDF files on CD that are fully printable.. you may also find an original here in the classified section, on the sponsors site or on theeee "bay". Hope this helps, Ralph.

whoops i ment witch are better for it NGK or autolites. And thanks for the info, have the owners manual for it.

What good is the manual going to do for his question? I don't think half you guys read the post you just automatically say get a manual. I run autolites in my jd's and if for some reason I can't get the ones I want when I need them I will run ac delcos but myself and a good majority of people on this site prefer autolites. I know the manuals call for champions but I don't think they are made the same as they were back then. I never had any luck with those

thanks john. I dont like champions either. I think that is why i have a small miss under a load is it has champions in it and every thing else look like new and its my fist time with a JD gas engine.

Ralph you need to stop drinking the kool-aid. We have run E10 in all our tractors and vehicles for 25 years+ with NO PROBLEMS. Started out when co-op was selling it cheaper than regular. Went from leaded regular to E10 unleaded and had no problems.
