(quoted from post at 15:38:37 02/26/11) The capacity is 8 quarts plus one more for the filter. The 69/72s do hold 12 quarts plus one for filter.
(quoted from post at 17:56:49 02/26/11) With the long tube and short stick they will hold almost 5 galllon oil ask me how I know my 4020 has a late seriall number engine with the new style dipstick not the threaded stlye
(quoted from post at 19:19:52 02/26/11) Tx jim is right the later 4020 had a bigger pan as in the deep part of the pan was longer
(quoted from post at 08:12:44 02/27/11) .Dont want to get on your bad side and get scolded like(B&D) but I would bet the farm on this one.
(quoted from post at 10:55:25 02/27/11) Tx Jim ,I am wrong on same pan on 4320&4520 as they did not have filter in pan. Im going to look at on my late 4020 and see if there is a visable casting number.I was thinking capacity.A senior moment.Wish you could find me some nice tractors as they seem to be getting harder to find.Actually starting to buy some newer ones but the 4020 side counsels are still my favorite.
