404 Farmall Wide Front

Hello all...I was riding thru a subdivion yesterday & spotted a 404 IH sitting in a driveway. The tach shows 607 hours, Rubber is 90-95 percent. The guy said the Tractor was bought new by his Father- In-Law. He knew nothing about Tractors,he was just selling it for Mother-In Law.He said it was always stored in a barn, but the paint has been touched up in spots, a few small dents, but all & all a very good looking Tractor and runs great. It has a wide front end, scraper blade, a carry all, & a plow with the Tractor. I would like to know if anyone can help price this piece, he would never really price it but I think he's thinking $3000.00ish. Any & all responses would greatly appreciated.

Go get $3000 and buy a tractor. That sounds like a pretty decent deal to me. HTH

Are you sure its a "Farmall" 404? If it has the 36 inch rear wheels and sits high, then its a Farmall 404. If it sits low, and has a swept back front axle with 28 inch rear wheels, then its an "international" 404.

If it is a Farmall 404... I want to see a pic, because i've NEVER seen a row crop with a wide front.

If it is the rowcrop Farmall 404, I'd be there with cash in hand as fast as you can get there. That seems like an awfully reasonable price for one with less than 1000 original hours and with the attachments besides. I know I would not think twice myself.

Better jump on that one before someone else sees it! Definitaly a fair price in my opinion...
