407 in 826

looking to put a 407 in a 358 german 826, is there any mods needed

I don't know how big of a project that would be, i'm sure that you'll run into some issues. How did you come across a 407? They are getting hard to find.

dont know what it will take, whats wrong with 358?, where you located?

You'll need 856 frame rails. Radiator connections will be on the wrong side, you'll need one from a 806 or 856, gas or diesel will be the same. Throttle linkage goes to the right side on the 407, you may need some parts there. There will be a few other small things you'll need, but it will be fairly straightforward.

neighbor has 407 for sale will have to see what it came out of
nothing is wrong with the 358 we heard that you cant upgrade fuel pumps on the 358?
