Ok. I may play with the pump a little. I have a 430 that i would like to pull in the local farm stock pulls next year along with my 830.

glad this subject came up ...gonna pull the pump off my 430 and send it to interstate injection at seymour in,, spoke with Jeff today ,, he said that he can set the pump to 530 specs or more depending on the parts he finds that need replacing and what he has readily available ,.btw. ..the Liberty 430 I got from jllw last winter will currently run circles around it, and starts better too , ....when i got my 1st 430 in 2003 ., it was a junkyard dawg ..couple yrs ago , we put in new injectors and that was a big improvement , just now getting around to the pump ..in 2003 it wandered up the drive with the wrong starter gear , blown head gasket, leaky power steering cylanders, shot clutch and a leaky 3pt,piston, and it still has has a cracked fuel injector line that is getting worse ....it still ran decent with all that wrong with it ,got to learn alot about 430s with that one...

I have to say that little 430 is very perky. My neighbor has a 3000 ford that he thinks hung the moon. May just have to drop chains and let the eagle fly!

that 430 you got from us i was told has 207 pistons thats what the owner told me he had 207 pistons put in at the last rebuild

had a 570 back in the daythat had the pump set up a little on a rebuild it would blow silage in a 70 ft silo a lot better than a 5000 ford

When we overhauled the 430 motor the diesel shop set the pump to 630 specs for us. That makes for a bulldog of a small tractor. Don

630 and the 430 case are great tractors I own one of each. There is a noticeable difference in horse power in the 630 especially on the hills. I would like to turn up the pump on the 430 but you know if it aint broke don’t fix it.

(quoted from post at 09:16:15 11/30/12) well it sure has uuumph! ,, just like my Dads 430 Demonstrater

Just wonderin if the late 450 Crawler spec might be the spec to use for fuel delivery. I have a pump already to go on a 188 set to 207 specs as I also am going to build a 207 from a 188 with the bigger bore. Contrary to what I have read they both have the same stroke.

I really like ACG's 430 turbo setup and would like to find a factory 580 D setup for my toy.

the 207 pistons and liners will fit in the later 188s the piston pin is the same, and the 188 crank rods and pistons, liners will fit in a 207 i have did this in the past

we have a 430 back in the day would blow silage better than 5000 ford , my dad chopped corn with that 430 its in the middle of a complet restoration right now

mEl, I have never checked just was told they had a longer stroke interesting news so are the rod ends wider or what is the reason for the "bulges" on the 207 block strenth?? thanks for any info cnt

Didn't know who made the post but thot it was here about the stroke. The rod journal size was increased so as you have just stated that would require a bigger physical big end on the rod. The formula works out for CID using the bore n stroke dimensions with a stroke of 4.125.

the 207 rod is larger but the piston pin is the same as 188 the guys at my local dealer told me its not good to put the 207 pistons in a 188 because of the stress it will put on the little 188 rod but they have aroud here it will work
