435 rebuild

I recently purchased a 435 Diesel tractor. It needs to be overhauled as it is worn out and it wetstacks. I have done some searching and found out that there are some updates that need to be performed to the engine to make it better. I have some questions,
If I buy connecting rods for a 3-53 will they be the piston spray type?

How can I find my local Detroit Diesel dealer?

What size injectors can I go with if I swap to piston spray type rod. I do not want it to smoke at any engine speed.

What is the difference between C series injectors and N series?

Will I need to add an oil cooler with any of these updates?

Can I use a rebuilt oil pump out of a 3-53 to create more oil pressure?

Are there any other updates that I should be aware of?

What is the estimated cost of the rebuild?

Thanks, cooop

All those questions have been covered here a dozen or so times in past posts.
C injectors, N sleeves and pistons, new vales and seats, don't grind them. Grinding lowers the compression and makes starting difficult.
Cam follower springs and valve springs have been updated by DD.Blower seal upgrade is recommended to reduce chances of a run away.
2400rpm full load is ok with the new springs.
What are you planning on doing with this tractor?

That's a lot of questions. I'll try a few of them.

First of all, wet stacking is not necessarily an indicator of worn cylinder kits. Wet stacking is caused by insufficient heat in the exhaust to burn excess fuel coming thru on the scavenging stroke.
Has the tractor been worked lately, worked hard enough for everything to come up to temperature and the exhaust to dry out?

No smoke out a of 2-53 at any speed? Surely you jest.

Injectors designated C were usually for EPA highway Certified engines. N injectors are the most common for everything else. The N is for needle valve. N injectors superseded S injectors and used a quill in the spray tip assembly to reduce dribbling at the end of injection.

Nozzle spray connecting rods can be identified by looking at the tip end of the rod at the piston pin end. It should have a small spray nozzle with several holes.

To locate your nearest dealer, use Google and type in Detroit Diesel and continue your search.

"N" cylinder kits, advanced camshaft timing, N45 injectors and 2800 RPM no load with really bring it to life.

But then, the rest of the tractor was not designed to be used continuously at that level.

Hope there is something here to help.

Bush Hogging and Dubuque pto cluster gears really don't belong in the same sentence. Unless the bush hog has a slip clutch and is used to just cut grass.
C35 or N35 injectors. No need for oil cooler or even piston spray cooling at such low power levels.
I wouldn't wind a two valve 53 series with the high lift cam up to 2800rpms. 2400rpm full load is max.
2800rpm is for four valve heads, low lift cams and updated cam/follower springs.
Might do the 4500lb class in 1st gear with the 35 injectors with 28" rims and a sand or limestone track.
The oil cooler isn't required for intermittent usage such as your application. Piston cooling spray rods are a maybe on the 40's and certainly on the 45,50 or 60's.
Depending on previous use, abuse, ballast and type of trans oil. The ring and pinion will vary from looking factory fresh to worn nubs. If the R&P goes bust. Install the HD R&P units for a 1010 under serial number 31,000
