4430 powershift

I move snow with this tractor and want to know if I can cut out the shifter guide plate to get 5th and 6th reverse. Need for speed in reverse.

I have never tried it but I do know that reverse and snow are death on a power shift...

yah you can, can also remove the plate and have a slap shifter, go from 6th forward - to - 6th reverse, and not go through all the gears. don't ask how i know this.

I saw one with center altered unfortunatly it was being being split at JD to be fixed, although I dont know if that caused problem as it looked rough.
