5000 Injector pump tool

I'm working on a 65 5000 with a Simms inline pump and need to take the fitting that is right on top of the injector pump off. The valve in there seems to be sticking as I can't get any fuel out of #3 and the plungers are all moving up and down ok. It is a serrated fitting and from what I was told by a pump repair place I need a Delpi TS9 socket that is serrated and I can't seem to find one. I'm trying to get my Dad's old tractor going and the SOS needs some TLC so I don't want to spend alot on the motor if the tranny is too far gone. Thanks in advance Greg NE

Delivery valve may be stuck open. Try a .060-.070 drill bit in the other working outlets first, and push the spring peg down. Note how far it goes down. Then try it on the one not firing, if it is stuck open the bit will not go down as far. Usually if it is stuck open fuel should flow out with line off, and hand primer working. Most Simms missfire trouble is broken plunger return springs, not keeping the tappet down as it should.
